Friday 9th March 2018
Description- What happened:
Today we finished our Animal Farm presentations, we then presented our PowerPoints to the rest of the class.
Feelings- What were you thinking:
Throughout today's lesson, I was nervous to stand in front of my peers and present my presentation. Although I’ve done it before, I still found it quite nerve-racking.
Evaluation- What was good and bad:
I thought that my preparation and presentation of my PowerPoint were good parts of the day, even though I was really nervous. Although I do believe that I could have spent more time practising my PowerPoint.
Conclusion- What else could you have done:
I think that if I spent more time practising presenting my PowerPoint, I would have found it easier to stand in front of my peers.
Action plan- If it rose again what would you do
If the opportunity of a PowerPoint rose again I would spend my time more wisely and practice presenting the PowerPoint to people. I would also try and spend more time putting a couple of extra slides in.

Description- What happened:
Today we carried on with the FMP work that we need to hand in. We spent the day working on our blogs and making sure they are up to scratch.
Feelings- What were you thinking:
Throughout today's lesson, I felt like I got quite a lot done. I put my headphones in and did as much work as I could.
Evaluation- What was good and bad:
I thought that the lesson was a good chance for us to catch up on any work that we needed to do. During our course, because we are so busy we struggle to find time to stop, sit down and do our written work.
Feelings- What were you thinking:
During today I felt quite relaxed as technical wise the first open dress rehearsal went really well. All technical elements worked.
Evaluation- What was good and bad:
I think a good part of the day was getting through to the end of the show. It was nice to see how much work the cast and crew have put into this show.
Conclusion- What else could you have done:
I think we could have aimed to have enough dress rehearsal done in the afternoon after the notes the director gave. This would allow the cast to get used to the changes.
Action plan- If it rose again what would you do:
If it was to rise again I would try and sort another day of rehearsals. Even though the show is looking good, it would have been nice to have that extra day to smooth things out.
Thursday 17th May 2018
Description- What happened:
Today we had an open dress rehearsal in the afternoon and then our first evening show.
Feelings- What were you thinking:
I was quite nervous throughout today as I felt like we haven’t had enough practice.
Evaluation- What was good and bad:
I think a good part of the day was during the open dress when all technical elements went fine. This allowed me to sit back and relax before the evening show knowing that everything would work.
Conclusion- What else could you have done:
Due to the schedule of the show, we couldn’t have really done anything differently. It was nice to perform the show from the start to the finish twice.
Action plan- If it rose again what would you do:
If it was to rise again, I would have asked if we could have had an extra sound check in the morning, as during the open rehearsal we had a couple of problems.
Friday 18th May 2018
Description- What happened:
Today we had our last evening performance of ‘Our Day Out’.
Feelings- What were you thinking:
I felt quite excited to do the show tonight, I felt like the cast have finally got used to the show and they could relax whilst they performed.
Evaluation- What was good and bad:
I think a good part of the day was when all the cast and crew came together before the show and had notes. It was really nice to see how proud a lot of the cast were.
Conclusion- What else could you have done:
As this was a performance night there was nothing else I could have done.
Action plan- If it rose again what would you do:
If it was to rise again, I would of tried to get another crew meeting after the show to give notes out, as I felt very proud of everyone.

Description- What happened:
Today I attended “Animal Farm” rehearsals alongside my peers. We sat and made notes about the technical side of the show. As we’ve been so busy at the moment I haven’t had chance to go in and watch rehearsals.
Feelings- What were you thinking:
During today I felt busy as I was taking notes for all the different technical departments during rehearsals to ensure that everything is wrote down.
Evaluation- What was good and bad:
I think a good part of the day was seeing how the cast have created a really good show. It was nice to sit back and take time to appreciate their hard work.
Conclusion- What else could you have done:
I think during the day it would have been nice to see all of act 2. As the cast have only just started blocking, we thought it would be more beneficial for us to go work on the set for animal farm.
Action plan- If it rose again what would you do:
If it was to rise again I would have tried to organise another session with the directors for the technicians to attend rehearsals again.
Thursday 24th May 2018
Description- What happened:
Today we had a FMP catch up session. This allowed us all to sit down and catch up on any work we need for our blogs.
Feelings- What were you thinking:
I was relaxed during the day as I got quite a lot done.
Evaluation- What was good and bad:
I think a good part of the day was how our tutor explained our brief to us clearly, this allowed us to get stuck into our work. At the end of the day, everyone got a lot of work done.
Conclusion- What else could you have done:
During the day we could have gone over to the theatre to work on the set for an hour.
Action plan- If it rose again what would you do:
If it was to rise again, I would spoke to my tutor to see if we could have another hour in lesson, which would allow us to work on the set.
Monday 4th June 2018
Feelings- What were you thinking:
During today I felt busy as I was once again running around trying to work with as many teams as possible.
Evaluation- What was good and bad:
I think a good part of the day was getting some of the wood set onto the stage, it allowed us me to see the progress of the stage.
Conclusion- What else could you have done:
I think during the day we could have started on rigging the lighting. Although due to train delays we didn’t have our lighting designer, so we had to put it off until tomorrow.
Action plan- If it rose again what would you do:
If it was to rise again I would have tried to organise a better plan and find a way to get a lighting design sent to us.

Description- What happened:
Today we started to rig the lights for “Animal Farm”. During the day I worked with our lighting designer to take his design and make it real.
Feelings- What were you thinking:
During today I felt rushed of my feet as I was working as hard as I could trying to rig all the lights quickly.
Evaluation- What was good and bad:
I think a good part of the day was seeing how the lighting has come together to make the set look great.
Conclusion- What else could you have done:
I think during the day we could have focused more of the lights, it would have been nice to of got them all done.
Action plan- If it rose again what would you do:
If it was to rise again I would have tried to have got another crew member helping us, which would of speeded up the whole task.

During today I felt tired as this show is so technical, it took a very long time to plot the show.

As we finished the full show during the day, I don’t think there is anything else we could have done.

If the plotting session was to arise again, I would have tried to start plotting a bit earlier.

Description- What happened:
Today was day two of technical rehearsals for “Animal Farm”. During the day I worked with Miranda (Director) to conduct tech rehearsals.
Feelings- What were you thinking:
During today I felt busy as I was trying to ensure that all technical departments were working at the same speed.
Evaluation- What was good and bad:
I think a good part of the day was seeing how act 2 works with all the lighting and sound cues.
Conclusion- What else could you have done:
I think during the day it would have been nice to get a quick run though of the show. Due to the show being so technical, it takes a long time to tech.
Action plan- If it rose again what would you do:
If it was to rise again I would have tried to get more time for the actors to get use to performing under the lights and with the sound cues.

Description- What happened:
Today we had two dress rehearsals for “Animal Farm”. During the day I ran the show and made any changes to any cues.
Feelings- What were you thinking:
During today I felt rushed quite relaxed as many of my cues were in place, so all I had to do was run the show.
Evaluation- What was good and bad:
I think a good part of the day was seeing how the show has come together to be one of the best performances we have ever done.
Conclusion- What else could you have done:
I think during the day we could have had a small production meeting, this would have allowed a last meeting before our final show.
Action plan- If it rose again what would you do:
If it was to rise again I would have tried to have got another crew member helping us during the technical rehearsal, which would of allowed us to work at a faster speed.

Conclusion- What else could you have done:
I think during the day we could have maybe fit another show in the afternoon, this would allow us to perform our piece to another audience.

If it was to rise again I would of took part in the warm up with the cast, this allows me to get in my zone ready for the show.

Description- What happened:
Today we had our last two performances “Animal Farm”. During the day I worked with the rest of the crew to ensure the show worked as smoothly as possible.
Feelings- What were you thinking:
During today I felt calm as all the work was done, All I had to do was ensure that all the cast were okay and ready for their performances. At the start of the last show, I felt emotional as I was leaving all my friends at the end of this year.
Evaluation- What was good and bad:
I think a good part of the day was seeing the audience reaction after the first show and hearing their thoughts of the show.
Conclusion- What else could you have done:
I think during the day we could have had a full company talk, where we all came together and appreciated each other’s work.
Action plan- If it rose again what would you do:
If it was to rise again I would of organised a full company talk.

Description- What happened:
Today we had a production meeting with Miranda the director about our upcoming production of Animal Farm.
Feelings- What were you thinking:
Throughout today's lesson, I felt quite motivated to get my ideas out. I felt this was a good time to express my ideas the rest of the crew and the directors.
Evaluation- What was good and bad:
I thought that the production meeting was a success, we managed to lay out a base plan for the show. We all agreed on things that need to be done before the next meeting.
Conclusion- What else could you have done:
As a group, we could have sat down together and planned any extra notes for the production meeting. We could have also collaborated with each other to bring a final draft set plan to give to the director.
Action plan- If it rose again what would you do:
If the production meeting was to rise again, I would take the time to sit down with my peers and create a solid plan to give to the director at the very start of the meeting.
Thursday 15th March 2018
Description- What happened:
Today we had a sound workshop with our tutor in preparation for our upcoming production of Animal Farm.
Feelings- What were you thinking:
Throughout today's lesson, I felt like we all learnt some very beneficial information that will help us when we start our production. I also think that my peers learnt a lot during the day.
Evaluation- What was good and bad:
I thought that the sound workshop was a success, we learnt how to professionally use the sound desk. Even though we knew a lot of this information already, it allowed us to practice our skills in the safety of a lesson.
Conclusion- What else could you have done:
I think during the session we could have spent more time on how you patch the inputs into the inputs sockets on the back of the soundboard, as some of my peers are less confident when it comes to the more technical side of the desk.
Action plan- If it rose again what would you do:
If the sound workshop was to rise again I would definitely take a pen and paper with me, as I felt that I would have come out with some handy notes. I also would have these notes to look back on during the production if we come across any problems.

Description- What happened:
Today we finished off our project proposals, we then uploaded them to vital.
Feelings- What were you thinking:
Throughout today's lesson, I felt quite pressured to make sure that I finished my first draft of my project proposal.
Evaluation- What was good and bad:
I thought that my preparation and presentation of my PowerPoint were good parts of the day, even though I was really nervous.
Conclusion- What else could you have done:
Though today's lesson I could have got my project proposal done quicker, this would have allowed me to get more of my work was done before the end of the day.
Action plan- If it rose again what would you do:
If today’s lesson was to rise again I would have spent more time on making sure my project proposal was ready to send off, As I feel I may have rushed some bits of it.

Today we had a follow-on sound workshop from last week, alongside our tutor in preparation for our upcoming production of Animal Farm.
Feelings- What were you thinking:
Throughout today's lesson, I felt like we all learnt some very beneficial information that will help us when we start our production. I also think that my peers learnt a lot during the day.
Evaluation- What was good and bad:
I thought that the sound workshop was a success, we learnt how to professionally mic up a drum kit. Some of the class knew this information already, but it allowed the 1st years who don’t have as much knowledge to learn.
Conclusion- What else could you have done:
I think during the session we could have spent more time on how to make sure we use the correct microphones when micing up a drum kit.
Action plan- If it rose again what would you do:
If the sound workshop was to rise again I would definitely take some more detailed notes of what my tutor was saying. I would have had these more detailed notes to look back on during the production if we come across any problems.

I thought that I got a lot of my research done, this then allowed me to start to put it all together into a portfolio.
Conclusion- What else could you have done:
I could have started on my set drawings for the director of the show, although I was too busy completing my research portfolio to carry out that task.
Action plan- If it rose again what would you do:
If it was to rise again I would have started my research earlier in the day, therefore I would have more done for when I finished.

Throughout today's lesson, I felt like I got a lot of my vital coursework done that I needed to do. I felt like it was a very productive day.
Evaluation- What was good and bad:
I thought that it was good that our tutor gave us time to sit down and get as much of our coursework done as we could.
Conclusion- What else could you have done:
I think during the session I could have done a tiny bit more of my research portfolio and research into different roles within the theatre.
Action plan- If it rose again what would you do:
If the coursework catch-up session was to rise again I would make sure that I got through as much of my “theatre roles” research as I could.

Tuesday 8th May 2018
Description- What happened:
Today we started to fit up for “Our Day Out’. This is a show for the level 1 and 2 actors.
Feelings- What were you thinking:
Throughout today’s session, I thought we got through a lot, and I was very proud of the team. All of the different members of the crew assisted during the day.
Evaluation- What was good and bad:
I thought that it was good that during the day we de-rigged the previous show, hung masking to create a black box, rigged the lighting plan, plugged up and focused. It was a long day but everyone pulled together, therefore we got a lot done.
Conclusion- What else could you have done:
There really isn’t anything else we could have done that day as we got through all of our jobs.
Action plan- If it rose again what would you do:
If the fit up session was to rise again, I would have assigned different jobs to the crew at the start of the day. At times we would have all the crew working on a task that should only take 2 people to work on.

Description- What happened:
Today we carried on with the fit up from yesterday.
Feelings- What were you thinking:
Throughout today's lesson, we finished any tasks that were unfinished from yesterday. We also did a general clean up ready for when the cast arrives later in the week.
Evaluation- What was good and bad:
I thought that once again all the crew worked really hard at ensuring that the theatre was nice and tidy.
Conclusion- What else could you have done:
During today it would have helped if we could of giving front of house a bit of a clean, But we decided to leave it for the next day.
Action plan- If it rose again what would you do:
If the fit up session was to rise again I would have assigned the crew different roles on cleaning front of house, such as getting rid of some of the equipment we have placed out their during fit up week.
Thursday 10th May 2018
Description- What happened:
Today I started to get my prompt script ready for ‘Our Day Out” so we could start plotting on the next day.
Feelings- What were you thinking:
Throughout today's lesson, I felt quite relaxed as I focused on getting all the resources that I needed for plotting tomorrow.
Evaluation- What was good and bad:
I thought that It was good that all the crew members went off and got all of their stuff ready for the directors to come in the next day and start plotting.
Conclusion- What else could you have done:
If the directors were available that day we could have started plotting a day earlier.
Action plan- If it rose again what would you do:
If it was to rise again I would have got In contact with the directors to try and organise a time slot for them to come down and do a quick bit of plotting.
Friday 11th May 2018
Description- What happened:
Today the directors came in and started plotting for ‘Our Day Out”
Feelings- What were you thinking:
Throughout today's lesson, I felt quite stressed as I tried to manage all the different technical departments ensuring that we were all working at the same speed.
Evaluation- What was good and bad:
I thought that It was good that all we managed to get halfway into plotting act 2 before we had to finish for the day.
Conclusion- What else could you have done:
If we had a little more time, or if we started earlier we could have maybe plotted the full show.
Action plan- If it rose again what would you do:
If it was to rise again I would have got In contact with the directors and asked for them to of come in earlier so we could have had an extra hour.
Monday 14th May 2018
Description- What happened:
Today we started to fit up for “Our Day Out’. This is a show for the level 1 and 2 actors.
Feelings- What were you thinking:
Throughout today’s session, I thought we got through a lot, and I was very proud of the team. All of the different members of the crew assisted during the day.
Evaluation- What was good and bad:
I thought that it was good that during the day we de-rigged the previous show, hung masking to create a black box, rigged the lighting plan, plugged up and focused. It was a long day but everyone pulled together, therefore we got a lot done.
Conclusion- What else could you have done:
There really isn’t anything else we could have done that day as we got through all of our jobs.
Action plan- If it rose again what would you do:
If the fit up session was to rise again, I would have assigned different jobs to the crew at the start of the day. At times we would have all the crew working on a task that should only take 2 people to work on.
Wednesday 9h May 2018
Description- What happened:
Today we carried on with the fit up from yesterday.
Feelings- What were you thinking:
Throughout today's lesson, we finished any tasks that were unfinished from yesterday. We also did a general clean up ready for when the cast arrives later in the week.
Evaluation- What was good and bad:
I thought that once again all the crew worked really hard at ensuring that the theatre was nice and tidy.
Conclusion- What else could you have done:
During today it would have helped if we could of giving front of house a bit of a clean, But we decided to leave it for the next day.
Action plan- If it rose again what would you do:
If the fit up session was to rise again I would have assigned the crew different roles on cleaning front of house, such as getting rid of some of the equipment we have placed out their during fit up week.
Thursday 10th May 2018
Description- What happened:
Today I started to get my prompt script ready for ‘Our Day Out” so we could start plotting on the next day.
Feelings- What were you thinking:
Throughout today's lesson, I felt quite relaxed as I focused on getting all the resources that I needed for plotting tomorrow.
Evaluation- What was good and bad:
I thought that It was good that all the crew members went off and got all of their stuff ready for the directors to come in the next day and start plotting.
Conclusion- What else could you have done:
If the directors were available that day we could have started plotting a day earlier.
Action plan- If it rose again what would you do:
If it was to rise again I would have got In contact with the directors to try and organise a time slot for them to come down and do a quick bit of plotting.
Friday 11th May 2018
Description- What happened:
Today the directors came in and started plotting for ‘Our Day Out”
Feelings- What were you thinking:
Throughout today's lesson, I felt quite stressed as I tried to manage all the different technical departments ensuring that we were all working at the same speed.
Evaluation- What was good and bad:
I thought that It was good that all we managed to get halfway into plotting act 2 before we had to finish for the day.
Conclusion- What else could you have done:
If we had a little more time, or if we started earlier we could have maybe plotted the full show.
Action plan- If it rose again what would you do:
If it was to rise again I would have got In contact with the directors and asked for them to of come in earlier so we could have had an extra hour.
Monday 14th May 2018
Description- What happened:
Today was day one of technical rehearsals alongside the cast. During the day we spent time working through act 1 allowing the actors getting used to the theatre.
Feelings- What were you thinking:
At some points during the day, I felt stressed due to the amount of work you have to do as a DSM. Part of my job is making sure that all the technical departments are working on the same cues at the same time and are not jumping ahead.
Evaluation- What was good and bad:
A good part of the day was how all the crew pulled together to ensure that the cast felt at ease. Due to the nature of the cast members, a lot of them struggle to take in information. So, during the tech rehearsal, we let them know any technical problems that were happening so they could appreciate what we were doing.
Conclusion- What else could you have done:
During the day we could have worked at a quicker speed and got through more of the show.
Action plan- If it rose again what would you do:
If the session was to rise again I would try and push the crew to get through any of their jobs quicker.
Tuesday 15th May 2018
Description- What happened:
Today was carried on with of technical rehearsals alongside the cast. During the day we spent time working through act 2 following on from where we left off yesterday.
Feelings- What were you thinking:
Once again at some points during the day I felt stressed due to the amount of work you have to do as a DSM.
Evaluation- What was good and bad:
A good part of the day was how all the cast and crew got to know each other, this allowed for everyone to work together easily without any problems.

Description- What happened:
Today was carried on with of technical rehearsals alongside the cast. During the day we spent time working through act 2 following on from where we left off yesterday.
Feelings- What were you thinking:
Once again at some points during the day I felt stressed due to the amount of work you have to do as a DSM.
Evaluation- What was good and bad:
A good part of the day was how all the cast and crew got to know each other, this allowed for everyone to work together easily without any problems.
Conclusion- What else could you have done:
During the day we could have worked at a quicker speed and got to the end of act 2.

Description- What happened:
Today we had an open dress rehearsal for other performing arts students to take watch and take notes for the cast. This allowed the cast to hear notes from an audience that have never seen the show before. After we then started to work through scenes that needed some work on.
During the day we could have worked at a quicker speed and got to the end of act 2.
Action plan- If it rose again what would you do:
If the session was to rise again I would try and see if we could have started earlier so we could have got to the end of act 2

Description- What happened:

I think a good part of the day was getting through to the end of the show. It was nice to see how much work the cast and crew have put into this show.
Conclusion- What else could you have done:
I think we could have aimed to have enough dress rehearsal done in the afternoon after the notes the director gave. This would allow the cast to get used to the changes.
Action plan- If it rose again what would you do:
If it was to rise again I would try and sort another day of rehearsals. Even though the show is looking good, it would have been nice to have that extra day to smooth things out.
Thursday 17th May 2018
Description- What happened:
Today we had an open dress rehearsal in the afternoon and then our first evening show.
Feelings- What were you thinking:
I was quite nervous throughout today as I felt like we haven’t had enough practice.
Evaluation- What was good and bad:
I think a good part of the day was during the open dress when all technical elements went fine. This allowed me to sit back and relax before the evening show knowing that everything would work.
Conclusion- What else could you have done:
Due to the schedule of the show, we couldn’t have really done anything differently. It was nice to perform the show from the start to the finish twice.
Action plan- If it rose again what would you do:
If it was to rise again, I would have asked if we could have had an extra sound check in the morning, as during the open rehearsal we had a couple of problems.
Friday 18th May 2018
Description- What happened:
Today we had our last evening performance of ‘Our Day Out’.
Feelings- What were you thinking:
I felt quite excited to do the show tonight, I felt like the cast have finally got used to the show and they could relax whilst they performed.
Evaluation- What was good and bad:
I think a good part of the day was when all the cast and crew came together before the show and had notes. It was really nice to see how proud a lot of the cast were.
Conclusion- What else could you have done:
As this was a performance night there was nothing else I could have done.
Action plan- If it rose again what would you do:
If it was to rise again, I would of tried to get another crew meeting after the show to give notes out, as I felt very proud of everyone.
Description- What happened:
Today I attended “Animal Farm” rehearsals alongside my peers. We sat and made notes about the technical side of the show. As we’ve been so busy at the moment I haven’t had chance to go in and watch rehearsals.
Feelings- What were you thinking:
During today I felt busy as I was taking notes for all the different technical departments during rehearsals to ensure that everything is wrote down.
Evaluation- What was good and bad:
I think a good part of the day was seeing how the cast have created a really good show. It was nice to sit back and take time to appreciate their hard work.
Conclusion- What else could you have done:
I think during the day it would have been nice to see all of act 2. As the cast have only just started blocking, we thought it would be more beneficial for us to go work on the set for animal farm.
Action plan- If it rose again what would you do:
If it was to rise again I would have tried to organise another session with the directors for the technicians to attend rehearsals again.
Thursday 24th May 2018
Description- What happened:
Today we had a FMP catch up session. This allowed us all to sit down and catch up on any work we need for our blogs.
Feelings- What were you thinking:
I was relaxed during the day as I got quite a lot done.
Evaluation- What was good and bad:
I think a good part of the day was how our tutor explained our brief to us clearly, this allowed us to get stuck into our work. At the end of the day, everyone got a lot of work done.
Conclusion- What else could you have done:
During the day we could have gone over to the theatre to work on the set for an hour.
Action plan- If it rose again what would you do:
If it was to rise again, I would spoke to my tutor to see if we could have another hour in lesson, which would allow us to work on the set.
Monday 4th June 2018
Description- What happened:
Today we started fit up for “Animal Farm”. During the day I worked with my peers to start to build the set.
Feelings- What were you thinking:
During today I felt busy as I was running around trying to get as many jobs done as possible.
Evaluation- What was good and bad:
I think a good part of the day was seeing how the crew pulled together to work as fast as they could.
Conclusion- What else could you have done:
I think during the day it would have been nice to get more of the set built, although we didn’t have all of our crew member therefore it was a lot harder.
Action plan- If it rose again what would you do:
If it was to rise again I would have tried to get more of the crew motivated to come in, as I think many of them had a late night.

I think during the day it would have been nice to get more of the set built, although we didn’t have all of our crew member therefore it was a lot harder.

If it was to rise again I would have tried to get more of the crew motivated to come in, as I think many of them had a late night.

Description- What happened:
Today we carried on the fit up for “Animal Farm”. During the day I worked with my peers to continue to build the set.
Feelings- What were you thinking:
During today I felt busy as I was once again running around trying to work with as many teams as possible.
Evaluation- What was good and bad:
I think a good part of the day was getting some of the wood set onto the stage, it allowed us me to see the progress of the stage.
Conclusion- What else could you have done:
I think during the day we could have started on rigging the lighting. Although due to train delays we didn’t have our lighting designer, so we had to put it off until tomorrow.
Action plan- If it rose again what would you do:
If it was to rise again I would have tried to organise a better plan and find a way to get a lighting design sent to us.

Description- What happened:
Today we started to rig the lights for “Animal Farm”. During the day I worked with our lighting designer to take his design and make it real.
Feelings- What were you thinking:
During today I felt rushed of my feet as I was working as hard as I could trying to rig all the lights quickly.
Evaluation- What was good and bad:
I think a good part of the day was seeing how the lighting has come together to make the set look great.
Conclusion- What else could you have done:
I think during the day we could have focused more of the lights, it would have been nice to of got them all done.
Action plan- If it rose again what would you do:
If it was to rise again I would have tried to have got another crew member helping us, which would of speeded up the whole task.

Today we carried on rigging the lights for “Animal Farm”. During the day I worked with our lighting designer to take his design and make it real.

I think a good part of the day was seeing some of the cast coming over to help with the building for the set, it was as nice team moment.

Today we started plotting the show alongside Miranda (The Director).

Feelings- What were you thinking:
During today I felt tired as this show is so technical, it took a very long time to plot the show.
Evaluation- What was good and bad:
I think a good part of the day was seeing the show come to life, and how each scene will look and sound.
Conclusion- What else could you have done:
As we finished the full show during the day, I don’t think there is anything else we could have done.
Action plan- If it rose again what would you do:
If the plotting session was to arise again, I would have tried to start plotting a bit earlier.

Today we started technical rehearsals for “Animal Farm”. During the day I worked with Miranda (Director) to conduct tech rehearsals.
Feelings- What were you thinking:
During today I felt busy as I was trying to ensure that all technical departments were working at the same speed.
Evaluation- What was good and bad:
I think a good part of the day was seeing how act 1 works with all the lighting and sound cues.
Conclusion- What else could you have done:
I think during the day it would have been nice to get more of the show done. Due to the show being so technical, it takes a long time to tech.

During today I felt busy as I was trying to ensure that all technical departments were working at the same speed.
Evaluation- What was good and bad:
I think a good part of the day was seeing how act 2 works with all the lighting and sound cues.
Conclusion- What else could you have done:
I think during the day it would have been nice to get a quick run though of the show. Due to the show being so technical, it takes a long time to tech.
Action plan- If it rose again what would you do:
If it was to rise again I would have tried to get more time for the actors to get use to performing under the lights and with the sound cues.

Description- What happened:
Today we had two dress rehearsals for “Animal Farm”. During the day I ran the show and made any changes to any cues.
Feelings- What were you thinking:
During today I felt rushed quite relaxed as many of my cues were in place, so all I had to do was run the show.
Evaluation- What was good and bad:
I think a good part of the day was seeing how the show has come together to be one of the best performances we have ever done.
Conclusion- What else could you have done:
I think during the day we could have had a small production meeting, this would have allowed a last meeting before our final show.
Action plan- If it rose again what would you do:
If it was to rise again I would have tried to have got another crew member helping us during the technical rehearsal, which would of allowed us to work at a faster speed.

Friday 15th June 2018
Description- What happened:
Today we had our last two performances “Animal Farm”. During the day I worked with the rest of the crew to ensure the show worked as smoothly as possible.
Feelings- What were you thinking:
During today I felt calm as all the work was done, All I had to do was ensure that all the cast were okay and ready for their performances. At the start of the last show, I felt emotional as I was leaving all my friends at the end of this year.
Evaluation- What was good and bad:
I think a good part of the day was seeing the audience reaction after the first show and hearing their thoughts of the show.
Conclusion- What else could you have done:
I think during the day we could have had a full company talk, where we all came together and appreciated each other’s work.
Action plan- If it rose again what would you do:
If it was to rise again I would of organised a full company talk.
